Tonight I feel really inspired so I took advantage of that and started to make my first real challenge card. The idea was to cut all the pieces of paper in order to make the card tomorrow night, but I ended making it all.
I chose the Mojo Monday sketch because I like the ones that have a lot of different pieces and kinds of paper and this one seemed interesting...
Let's start!
You can see the Mojo sketch here:
My chosen materials where these:
And this is how it turned:
I wanted to use only red and white tones. The ribbon you see in my first picture was changed because I felt it needed more contrast. The paper doily gives it a romantic look that is appropiate for a Valentine's card. The lacey heart was made by punching a piece of doily. After being quite unsure if it was going to turn into a nice card, I have to say that the result really made me happy!
Materials used:
Kraft cardstock (unknown company)
White esse cardstock
Red Bazzil Basics cardstock
"Love at first sight" american crafts cardstock (reverse of the one used in the last post)
"Penny Candy" Pebbles cardstock
Sizzix and cuttlebug embossing folders
Colorbox cat's eyes in Cream white and Rich rustics
Paper doily, ribbon, spellbinders, heart punch and stamp

Easel card
This is a personal challenge, I mean it is something I wanted to do from some time ago, not a challenge from a specific site. Easel cards are really cute and I wanted to make one for valentine's day, using different tones of pink.
You can find the easel card tutorial here.
For the card front I stamped this heart image twice using 3 different tones of ink, but I only inked the image once, getting this two looks:
And this is how it looks finished:
Materials:
Bazzil Basics Cardstock
"Love at First Sight" American Crafts patterned paper
"Heart in a heart" from Rubber Stampede
Colorbox cat eye's queues in Rich rustics and Silks 'n' Satin
Scallop Dot Martha Stewart edger
Purple ribbon, paper doily and pink bling
I hope you like it!

First post
The reason I opened this blog is I really want to improve my skills in papercrafting by joining some challenges regularly. I think it is the better way to learn and to be in contact with creative crafters.
I have another challenge for myself, to try and write all in english here, because I'm really used to read a lot of stuff in english but I don't usually write or speak and I need to do it so I can practice more.
This will be a very busy weekend for me, but I still want to make at least one project that I will be posting here soon. Cheers!
